How to add your website to Google My Business

When you launch a new website there are a few things you need to do in order to get found in Google. One of the most important is to setup a profile on Google My Business.

This is completely free and very easy to do, simple sign up online right here:

As Google describes "Your Business Profile appears right when people are searching for your business or businesses like yours on Google Search and Maps. Google My Business makes it easy to create and update your Business Profile – so you can stand out, and bring customers in."

Once you've signed up online Google will need to verify your account, they will usually post you out a postcard with verification details in order to make your listing live.

Once your listing is live it's open to the public and your customers can start to view your profile and leave you reviews. As Google prioritises local listings on search results it's key to get your business registered.
